1. STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND GENERAL TRADING INFORMATION
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders and supersede all others. Receipt of acknowledgement of order by you constitutes your acceptance that these conditions are the only ones that apply to the contract, regardless of any terms put forward by you.
2. PAYMENT TERMS
2.1 ACCOUNT
Full payment is required within 30 days following the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.2 NON-ACCOUNT
Payment is required before 5:30 PM on the day your order is due to be dispatched.
2.3 DISCOUNT
Discounts are only valid if accounts are settled by the due date. Overdue accounts will forfeit any discounts, which will be re-invoiced.
2.4 VAT
Republic of Print does not charge VAT on printed items. The prices listed are final, and there are no additional VAT charges applicable to your order.
3. OVERDUE ACCOUNTS
3.1 Goods will not be dispatched for accounts unpaid 14 days after the due date. Interest may be charged on overdue accounts at 5% above the Barclays Bank base rate, calculated from the due date until payment is received.
3.2 Any legal or collection charges incurred in recovering overdue accounts will be charged to you.
4. PASSING OF TITLE AND RISK
4.1 Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.
4.2 All goods remain the property of Republic of Print until payment is received in full.
4.3 If payment is not made, Republic of Print reserves the right to reclaim goods and enter premises to do so.
5. PRODUCTS
We reserve the right to modify product details without prior notice. While we strive for accuracy, we are not liable for any errors in descriptions or any associated loss.
6. QUOTATIONS AND CONTRACTS
6.1 Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in production costs, taxes, or regulations.
6.2 Quotations are valid for 14 days.
6.3 Advertised prices and offers are subject to change without notice.
7. PRICES
All quoted prices are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate, where applicable.
8. DELIVERY
8.1 Delivery dates are estimates. We accept no liability for losses due to delays.
8.2 Deliveries require payment before dispatch. Non-payment will result in delays.
8.3 International delivery times are approximate and subject to customs clearance. Customers are responsible for customs fees.
9. QUANTITY VARIATION
Deliveries may vary by up to 5% above or below the ordered quantity. You will be charged accordingly.
10. CLAIMS
10.1 Claims for damages or loss must be made within 5 days of delivery.
10.2 Quality or quantity claims must be submitted within 5 days of receipt of goods.
10.3 Non-delivery claims must be made within 4 days of invoice receipt.
11. LIABILITY
Our liability is limited to the contract value of the goods. We are not liable for financial losses or consequential damages.
12. REFUNDS
Refunds are only issued if reprints are deemed unsatisfactory. All defective goods must be returned before replacements are issued.
13. SAMPLES
Samples must be returned in good condition within 14 days to avoid charges.
14. QUANTITY CHANGES TO ORDERS
Changes must be made in writing before production begins.
15. ARTWORK AND PRINTING
15.1 All artwork created remains the property of Republic of Print.
15.2 Orders are based solely on supplied artwork; additional costs due to inaccuracies are the customer’s responsibility.
15.3 Logo design services are available for a fee.
16. PROOFS
Proofs are not supplied unless requested and are subject to additional charges. Final proofs must be signed off in writing before production.
17. FORCE MAJEURE
Republic of Print is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
18. COMPLAINTS
Complaints must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery. Late complaints will not be considered.
19. GOVERNING LAW
All contracts are governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law.
